My name is Gulal Salil. I am a graphic storyteller, writer, anthropologist, and image-maker. Over the last decade, I have worked at the intersection of three disciplines—journalism, social sciences, and graphic arts, with the motivation to narrate stories & bold ideas using a union of words & images.

“आख़िर कौन है जिसका मन इंद्रधनुष देखकर इंद्रधनुष जैसा न हो जाए?” **The tradition of work I belong to is open-source, critical, queer & anti-caste in its objective principles. I grew up in a qaum that taught me feminist-marxist (bell hooks style) values from the ground up—around people who strived to act against oppression, actively seek beauty, and create knowledge with empathy.

Lal Poster is a long running moniker for a community which resides in me, and I, in it.**
